Application Overview

Our renting and application process involves six steps:

Step 1:  Property Selection
After reviewing the properties on this website, we encourage you to drive by the home or plex you think may be a fit for you and take a look at the exterior and setting of the home. The Yahoo.Maps link for each property on this website is an excellent source of information about schools and other resources and services near each of our properties. If you need additional information about one of our properties, please call us at 503-321-5140.

Step 2:  Property Tour
When you have decided which property is of interest to you, please call us at 503-321-5140 to make arrangements to visit the property for a tour of the inside.

Step 3:  Written Application
If you are interested in one of our homes, we encourage you to make written application. We charge a $40.00 cash application fee per occupant that is 18 years of age or older. Payment of this fee is required before we can begin processing your application.

Step 4:  Rental and Income Verification
We will make contact with your current and prior landlords to confirm your current and prior tenancy. We will also make contact with your employer or source of income to do a verification of your income.

Step 5:  Credit/Eviction/Criminal History Screening
We use an outside screening company to provide a credit, eviction, and criminal record report.

Step 6:  Decision and Communication
We will contact you when we have the results of our screening. We know that you have other housing options and we also know that waiting to find out the results of an application can be frustrating. For this reason we try to provide a definitive answer within twenty-four hours from the time we receive your completed application forms.
